We literally wouldn’t be here without our parents! On Sunday June 21st, we get to celebrate all fathers and father figures! That’s right, Father’s Day is right around the corner and even though this year will be different than most there are still plenty of ways to celebrate with your dad or father figure next weekend. Here are a few ideas for activities to do with dad.

Father’s Day Weekend at North Georgia Wildlife Park

North Georgia Wildlife Park is offering free admission to fathers for the whole weekend, June 19th to June21st! Enjoy a safari drive through, visit as many exhibits as you can, head to the petting zoo, or enjoy virtual experiences! It’s a fun way to enjoy a beautiful day and spend some quality time with Dad. You can plan your visit on their website, where you can also learn how you can support them during this time. Tickets are available for purchase online or in-person at the ticket booths.

Park Tavern at Piedmont Park

Park Tavern at Piedmont Park was voted the best patio and dog-friendly restaurant in Atlanta! It’s absolutely beautiful, and Dad is going to love their beer list. This year you can celebrate with your father and family over brunch and brews! Enjoy a lovely view of Piedmont Park and the Midtown city skyline while you dine on French toast, omelets, bacon, blackened salmon, and more! Pick up a growler while you’re at it or to-go cans if you prefer takeout during this time. You can buy brunch tickets and learn more on their website!

Chattahoochee Nature Center

The Chattahoochee Nature Center is a stunning 127 acres of wildlife encounters, exhibits, hiking, canoeing, and so much more! Pack a picnic or go on an aerial adventure (see photo below). There’s tons of stuff that you can do with your dad here. Visit on Father’s Day the 21st and dads and grandpas get in free! Visit their website to learn more and see what ticket prices are for the rest of the family!
