Who else is riding the coronacoaster 🎢 ? Recently, I learned what that term meant and I chuckled at how relatable it is! The coronacoaster describes the ups and downs of your emotions during the pandemic. And honestly, I’ve been having the kind of week that brushing my teeth before noon hasn’t really been a thing. The news about California shutting back down was definitely part of it. But since this is the new “normal,” I’m trying not to focus on things that are out of my control. Instead, I’ll worry about things that I can control, like the deliciousness of my cocktails 😉 . If you want to do the same, this Rosy Plum Spritz combines the boldness of jam with elderflower liqueur, sparkling wine, and sparkling water to create a refreshingly delicious drink! To find the full story on what inspired my Rosy Plum Spritz, be sure to check out the blog linked in the bio. Watermelon Frosé

Chrissie Beth from Off The Beaten Path Blog, has some of the easiest, tastiest, refreshing recipes that are sure to become new favorites. Her blog is super entertaining and she creates great travel guides as well, that we will be dreaming about embarking on as we sip our Watermelon Frosé.

Watermelon Frosé

  • 1 bottle rose wine
  • 4 cups frozen watermelon cubes
  • Juice of 4 limes
  • 2 tablespoons sugar (optional)

Cube watermelon and freeze about 4 cups of watermelon cubes. Chill the wine in the refrigerator. Once frozen, put half the wine and half the watermelon cubes into blender and blend until smooth. Add more frozen watermelon or wine until it’s the consistency you like. Blend in lime juice and sugar if using. You can also make this a mocktail by substituting sparkling water for the wine.
